Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that the JioPHONE NEXT 5G phone is powered by an optimized version of the Android OS made by Jio and Google. It is ultra-affordable and equipped with advanced features. This Ganesh Chaturthi will be available in the market from September 10. As you have come to expect from Jio, it is my promise that Jio Phone Next will be one of the most affordable smartphones not only in India but globally.
Mukesh Ambani said that we are working with global partners to develop the 5G ecosystem and develop a range of 5G devices. Jio is not only working to make India 2G free, but also 5G enabled. Jio has become the second largest network in the world in terms of data consumption. 630 million GB data is consumed per month on Reliance Jio’s network. This is 45 percent more than last year.
Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that we are ready for 5G network in the country. We will give 5G service first in the country. The speed of 1Gbps has been found in its trial. For this, there has been a partnership between Google Cloud and Jio.

At AGM 2021, Ambani said that despite the Corona period, Reliance Jio performed brilliantly. He said that leaving a Chinese company, Jio has become the first company to have more than 400 million subscribers in any one country. Because of this, Reliance Jio has become the second largest mobile data handling company in the world today.
RIL chairman Ambani said that one in eight Indians shop from Reliance Retail. The business of Reliance Retail has grown the fastest. He said that 1500 new stores were opened last year. In Apparel Biz, 180 million uniques were sold in 1 year. The situation strengthened in consumer electronics.
Reliance plans to join more than one crore merchant partners on its e-commerce venture JioMart in the next three years. Also, Reliance Retail will increase the number of its stores manifold this year.
Will get 10 lakh jobs
Mukesh Ambani further said that in the retail sector, Reliance will give jobs to about 10 lakh people in the next three years. Along with this, he also said that in the last one year, Reliance Retail has created 65000 new jobs and its staff strength has now increased to more than two lakhs.
15000 crore investment
During AGM 2021, Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance will invest Rs 15,000 crore on value chain partnerships and future technologies.
Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance will invest 60 thousand crore rupees in the green energy sector. The company is aiming to produce 100 GW of solar energy in the next 10 years. For this, Dhirubhai Green Energy Complex will be started in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
