Message not to deduct money
In fact, when a woman reached ATM in Kanker to withdraw money, she came to know that only nine rupees were left in her account, after which the woman was blown away. Later, the woman lodged a complaint with the police that online fraud had happened with her. However, the woman also told that neither she received any message nor OTP to deduct money from the account. After which the bank employees including the police were also surprised that how the money was withdrawn without any OTP.
3 lakh 22 thousand rupees came out in 278 transactions
After this, it was found in the investigation that between March 8 and June 10, 3 lakh 22 thousand rupees were withdrawn from the woman’s account by doing 278 transactions. It was also revealed in the investigation that due to playing the game and upgrading the level of the game, this money was deducted from the account.
The woman’s 12-year-old son, when asked, told that he was addicted to the online game Free-Fire. After being completely crazy about the game, I felt like buying the weapons of the game and started doing transactions by linking the mobile number of the mother to the bank account.
