Social media giant Facebook has announced that it will reward content creators on its social network more than $1 billion by 2022. Announcing the initiative on Wednesday, Facebook joined the social network platforms that have been paying substantial amounts to content creators for the past one year. These include Google’s YouTube and ByteDance’s Tiktok. These companies also give huge amount of money to the users for good content.
There will be a reward of up to one billion dollars
Facebook said that creators will be able to earn a lot of money using their products. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, “We are building a platform for millions of content creators in which through Facebook and Instagram, by the year 2022, creators will get rewards of up to one billion dollars for good content. He further said that on creators Investing is not new to Facebook, but I am very excited to take it forward. More details will be given soon.”
Payment will be done under the series
The company will pay creators through a new bonus initiative series on Facebook and Instagram. The bonus program will be a dedicated hub that will be included within the Instagram app later this summer and the Facebook app later this year.
